Did we say 40.....?

Well folks, another fun packed, star struck, world famous updates from the Emery's!

Brian turned a 'certain age' (ok then he turned 40!!!) earlier this month and he held a birthday party at home.

Everyone that was anyone turned up, neighbours...friends....and those in between (?) were there.

Over 70 people turned up, so Brian must pay very well to have sooooo many friends.

A special message from Brian below:

Before we get to the photos, I would like to thank all my friends who were able to make my party. You all have a special place in my heart. I am so lucky to have you all in my life...and Elaine's (hehehehe)

Special thanks to the Dempster and Wright families (my family here!) to helping us with cooking, music and everything else.

And last but by no means least, I would like to thank my wonderful and beautiful wife, Elaine.

Without her, none of this would have happened. Elaine worked tirelessly to make sure that all the party guests were filled with food and drink.

Thank you sweetheart, I love you with all my heart!

At Last.....WE ARE IN.......

ENGLAND!!!!!!

Well folks,

The time has been and gone.....as we were in England for a vacation!!

This trip was a long time in the making, as this was Brian and Elaine's first trip back to England since leaving those shores over 2 years ago...

They had a great time visiting family and friends, but with only a week to see everyone, they did not get to see everyone which was a real shame. They even had a party where 50 people turned up to see them back in the UK.....

Well, as quickly as the vacation started it finished! We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone to making the time to see us. Some friends and family traveled hundreds of miles and stayed in hotels etc, to see us. It was appreciated!!

Another Visit From The UK

Hello everyone,

We hope you are all well and in good health!

Well, another visit took place from England...we had visitors from England over a 3 1/2 week period....Clive and Katherine (sorry, no pictures here!!) and Ricky and his family (look below for...)

Anyway. we have an excellent time (well, if we had a bad time, we wouldn't place that on here would we???) with all our visitors, but here are some pictures (yawn, we hear you say) below!

Well, it is done!

Brian and Elaine will be back in England for one week....those of you that have email will have already received the dates....we won't place them on here for obvious reasons....

Visiting England...A Sort Of Update....

Folks,

Now....there has been a lot of speculation about the Emery's visiting England this year 2010.

We are still looking at visiting this year (honest!) but, it seems that our comments of 'we might be back this year' have been taken as 'we will be back this year'. Please....until we confirm we are coming back, this is still not set in stone.

We are just as excited to plan to visit friends and relatives in England....but currently we are searching for the cheapest flights available for us.

You see, flights here are cheap but the taxes are INCREDIBLE!!!

So, in short.....we will let everyone know when we are coming back...we will try and give PLENTY of notice.

We looking at (and again, please do not take this as definite!) around the Easter period, so that people do not have to take off anytime to see us.....make sense??

More details as they emerge folks..stay tuned on this one.....

Fun At The Inn....

Hi ya folks!!!

Another update from us......

Well, we spent a weekend stay at our friend's inn (thank you Bryan and De!!!!) located in Calendon, which is about 1 hour 15 minutes away from Kitchener where we live.

The Caledon Inn is set in 50 acres of land (WOW!!!) and based here is a 200 year old farmhouse. De who is the owner organizes weddings, events and social functions here and it is a beautiful place.

Two Years In The Making.....

Hello there folks!

This is our first real update of 2010! We hope you are having a good one so far!

Anyway, Monday 11th January 2010, we celebrated two years of emigrating to Canada.

We are still loving it here (no reason not to really!) and enjoying what life has to offer here.

Don't get us wrong, Canada is not Utopia...we still have to go to work, pay the bills and taxes and all that fun stuff!
